Josephine M. Bohémier
A background in graphic arts and a love of vintage fashions and costumes have been influential in channeling my creative skills into an exciting and challenging career in the arts.
Working in acrylics and mixed media, I hope to achieve a balance of imagery and historical content that inspires others to make a connection with their favorite era or theme.
With a personal collection of vintage costumes and modeling with a local volunteer group called ‘Heritage Productions’, I have many opportunities to share my enthusiasm for recreating the beauty and romance of the past and the unlimited expression it provides.
Photographs, fabric, papers, ephemera, and anything that I feel will inspire and project a creative energy that has been wanting to surface is always foremost in my mind when looking for a new subject.
This is a rewarding visual journey that is dedicated to my love of art and fashion, and the artists and people in the community who support that objective.
